Challenge Orienteering
Overview:
Equipped with your map of forest your team must find your way to a number of stations scattered around the park. At some of the stations you will find a flag and control with which you punch your card to prove you were there. At the other stations you will find a challenge for your team to complete. See below for samples, the exact challenges (and number off) we use depend on location and your group profile/size. All activities are guaranteed fun & cater for most abilities. It’s all about getting as many points as possible for your team, a prize awaits the winners.
Examples of the activities:
Orienteering-
Use your map to find the location of the markers which are hidden around the forest. Your team must work together to be as efficient as possible. When you find one stamp you card to prove you were there then move onto the next station.
Abseiling / Rock Climbing-
Can you handle it?? Sheer 70ft cliffs, vertical drops!! One of your team must Abseil down the cliff face to find the flag. At another location a team member must climb the cliffs while been belayed by the rest of your team- are you brave enough???
Team Challenges-
build the Giant Jenja tower as high as possible, solve the Impossible Puzzle or transmit the message without any sounds. Just some of the fun challenges your team will encounter along the route.
Min charge: 12 people
Duration: Half day: 2 - 2.5 hours.
Includes: all activity equipment, location fees (excluding meeting rooms) Event Manager, Adventure Agency staff, public liability insurance, prize.
