The 4x4 Cross Country Challenge
Following a briefing and short training session, the teams/vehicles will set off around our Cross Country Course. The Course itself offers several off road driving challenges, but the main task will be for the guests to tackle some of our more demanding 4x4 Trials Stages to be found on route. Drivers will rotate on a regular basis according to numbers and the time available.
The 4x4 Recovery Challenge
Following a briefing and a short training session, the teams/vehicles will set off on a pre-set route which will take them through some of the more demanding areas of the site. The route will go through areas in which we know the vehicles will encounter major problems. At these points, the teams will be issued with recovery and winching equipment to enable them to get through. It’s up to each team to figure out the best way of using this equipment to effect successful & safe recovery. Instructors will always be on-hand to advise or intervene if a safety situation occurs. Teams will then be judged on progress and teamwork if required. This package makes an excellent “Team Building” event!
The 4x4 Jungle Navigation Challenge
Following a briefing and a short training session, the teams are handed their instructions. Using the maps and navigation equipment provided, their first task is to find their vehicle’s, which have been hidden within the 250-acre site! Once located, the teams will then have to navigate their way through a series of waypoints around the site. At each waypoint, there will be a different challenge. These challenges can be set up to suit the groups’ requirements, and can be structured as a driving, mental, physical or psychological challenge. The teams must call upon all of their collective skills and resources in order to complete the course. Again, an excellent team-building event.
