Archery is one of the world’s ancient arts and its origins can be traced back some 15,000 years. It takes a steady hand and a keen eye to excel with the bow and arrow in this precision sport. The aim of archery is to shoot your arrow at the target consisting of five coloured rings. The closer to the centre of the target the arrow lands the more points are scored. This is the ideal activity to bring out your competitive side and is a test of character as you battle under pressure, whilst also being a leisurely, civilized and enjoyable activity for all. Full instruction given and all the necessary equipment will be provided. Great test of accuracy and concentration. After professional instruction the group will be taught the basics of shooting and given a few practice shots. Then we’ll hold a competition to prove who has the sharpest eye!
